The Principles That Shape Every Decision

Our Values

Nourish London is guided by a small set of practical values: healthy skin first, evidence-led innovation, respect for nature, kindness in how we work and a belief that better knowledge leads to better skincare choices.

What matters to us

Values That Guide Real Decisions

Values only matter when they influence what a company actually does.

At Nourish London, ours shape how ingredients are selected, how products are formulated, how information is shared and how we think about the wider impact of making skincare.

They are grounded in a simple belief: healthy skin should come before trends, claims should be supported by evidence and customers deserve enough honest information to make confident choices.

We do not always have a perfect answer. Scientific understanding changes, sourcing options develop and better technologies become available. Our responsibility is to keep learning, remain transparent and improve wherever we reasonably can.

The principles behind Nourish London

Our Five Core Values

Skin

Healthy Skin First

We believe healthy skin is beautiful skin. Our products are designed to nourish, protect and support the skin over time rather than chase short-lived fixes.

Science

Evidence-Led Innovation

Scientific understanding guides every formulation. We review research, question assumptions and adopt new ideas when the evidence suggests they offer a genuine benefit.

Nature

Nature Without Compromise

Natural ingredients are chosen for their purpose and performance, not simply for their marketing appeal. Nature and cosmetic science work best when considered together.

Kindness

Kind by Design

Kindness influences ingredient sourcing, formulation, manufacturing and the way we work with people. We aim to make choices that respect skin, communities and the planet.

Knowledge

Empower Through Knowledge

Clear and accessible information helps people understand their skin, question confusing claims and make skincare choices with greater confidence.

I believe people make better skincare decisions when they understand why a product has been formulated, what its ingredients are there to do and what results can realistically be expected.

Values in practice

A Culture Built Around Curiosity and Care

Our values are reflected in the way the Nourish London team works together.

Research, formulation and manufacturing take place within our London home, allowing ideas and knowledge to move freely between people with different skills and experience.

We want everybody to feel able to contribute, whether they are joining the business as a graduate, working in production, developing a formulation or helping customers understand which products may suit their skin.

That collaborative culture matters. Better products rarely come from one person working alone. They come from careful discussion, practical experience, testing and a willingness to ask whether something can be improved.

Knowledge makes a difference

Why Skincare Education Matters

In a Nourish London survey of more than 2,000 women, over 25% said they did not have a skincare routine, while 38% said they regularly cleansed, toned and moisturised.

That snapshot suggested something important: many people are already trying to care for their skin, but routines and product choices can still feel confusing.

We believe brands have a responsibility to make skincare easier to understand rather than adding more noise. That means explaining what ingredients do, why products are formulated in a particular way and how routines may need to change as skin, lifestyle and environment change.

There is rarely one routine that suits everybody forever.

Our Education Hub, Ingredients, Skin Concerns, Regimes and Advice sections are designed to help people build knowledge gradually and make choices that feel appropriate for their own skin.

A continuing commitment

Values That Must Keep Evolving

Nourish London has grown since it was founded in 2011, but the principles behind the company remain recognisable.

Healthy skin still comes first. Evidence still matters. Natural ingredients must still justify their place within a formulation. Kindness and responsibility still influence how we work.

The practical meaning of those values will continue to develop. New research may challenge established ideas, more responsible materials may become available and customer expectations will rightly continue to rise.

We see that as progress.

Our commitment is not to claim that every decision is perfect. It is to remain curious, make considered choices and keep improving the way we formulate, manufacture and communicate.
